GRANNIES GROW LOCAL PROJECT

This project has been recently piloted with a granny who is currently looking after and watering 4 trays of spinach seedlings which will be ready to hand over to the schools garden in 3 weeks time.

The vision for this project is that the grannies of Hout Bay will be invited to take care of trays of vegetable seedling for about 6 weeks and then hand the seedlings to the Thrive Grower and school’s Eco Club for planting in the schools veggie garden for harvesting at a later stage.
